Vanquishing Regent Valley
I'm having a heck of a time against the Renegades/Renegade Elementalists. Any pointers?
Here are the builds I'm running:
Ritualist:
Attuned was Songkai, Boon of Creation, Shadowsong, Dissonance, Displacement, Shelter, Union, Flesh of my Flesh
Warrior Hero:
Hundred Blades, Savage Slash, Jaizhenju Strike, Thrill of Victory, Distracting Blow, Lion's Comfort, Go for the Eyes!, Final Thrust
Monk Hero:
Word of Healing, Jamei's Gaze, Orison of Healing, Words of Comfort, Dwayna's Kiss, Signet of Rejuvenation, Divine Spirit, Resurrection Chant
Necromancer Hero:
Spiteful Spirit, Arcane Echo, Defile Enchantments, Desecrate Enchantments, Recklass Haste, Signet of Lost Souls, Signet of Sorrow, Res Sig
I have access to all hero classes and a majority of skills in the game.
Thanks in advance.

Make you're Warrior do damage. Hundred Blades is crap.

Start there and add what you find necessary for each area. I didn't find anything necessary for Regent Valley, I was running Godmode though so I guess thats understandable.

Or you could be the explosive MM yourself. That would be cool.
The left side of Regent is the tough part due to the Grawl. In general, you need to put so much pressure on their melee while at the same time putting pressure on the Ulodytes. Eventually the Ulodyte energy or AI craps out, and something dies. Then it's downhill from there.
Also, bring a source of Weakness. It makes the hard-hitting hammer warrior Grawls not that hard hitting.

If you are running a Rit, try flagging your heroes back... have monk PS you and then run up and get the fire ele to cast the AoE spell just on you, then back out and unflag the heroes. That way they don't stand in the firestorm. If you have blinding capabilities (Ele secondary with blinding flash might help) you can make the warriors worthless while you kill the ele and then take them on. Your SS hero will also take care of the warriors while they are blinded.
For more damage, drop reckless haste on the Necro because it doesn't speed the enemies up terribly in HM. Replace it with empathy to increase the suicide damage. Alternatively, you could bring a backfire for the eles.
A BHA hero would help a lot, but as it is a 4man zone, you probably want to hold on to what you have....
I did all 4man zones with my necro using blood ritual and the monk bonding.... there isn't a ton of enchantment removal, so you can greatly reduce the damage you are taking. (Put Blessed Sig on the monk as well to keep his/her power up.) Again, blinding will keep the warriors off of your monk. [To use the bonds, you will have to disable it and manually cast it. If it isn't disabled, the hero will release the enchantments and it won't work]

heh, i traveled from toa to vanquish all of old ascalon, only takes about 1.5-2 hrs to travel and even less to actually vanquish
anyway, i found the renegades to be quite easy with just a balanced team, keep ur heroes moving about and knock out the mob as fast as u can
the real challenge of this place is the grawl with their stubborn and overlapping patrols.
used steady stance tank, 1 sab healer, mm, hero healer p&h, 2 wars, archer and dunham i think...
